The data

Gameplay data with the decisions behind it

Kifu pairs real game footage with synchronized keyboard and mouse inputs, plus the player's own explanation of key decisions.

Players control what they record and can earn XP for verified contributions.

The research edge

Video shows the action. Kifu captures the decision.

Public gameplay footage can show what a player did. Kifu also captures the inputs behind the action and the player's account of what they were trying to do.

The result is structured gameplay data that helps research teams study how people plan, adapt, and make decisions in real time.

Privacy and control

You control every recording and submission

Kifu captures the selected game window and your keyboard and mouse while the game is focused. It does not capture audio, webcam footage, clipboard contents, other apps, or inputs after you switch away from the game.
