What you agree to when you contribute
Kifu records gameplay to build datasets for AI research. Before your first recording can be sent, you accept these terms in the recorder. This page is the full version; the recorder shows a short summary and links back here.
- DRAFT alpha terms (portal-draft-1) — a short plain-language version while the full contributor terms (#41) are finalized. By continuing you agree to this version; you will be asked again when the final version ships.
- 1. You are 18 or older.
- 2. You grant Kifu Labs a perpetual, sublicensable license to use, process, and redistribute your recorded gameplay sessions and annotations as AI training data. Sessions upload automatically while you record.
- 3. Rewards (credits) are discretionary, estimated until reviewed, and their terms can change; credits are not money and currently have no cash value.
- 4. You can delete any recording from this portal. Deleting removes it from our servers. If parts of a recording were already exported into a delivered dataset, deletion stops all future use but cannot recall copies a buyer already holds.
- 5. The recorder reports app health telemetry (never gameplay content); details at kifulabs.com/recording.
For exactly what the recorder captures and never captures, see Recording and privacy.
